Anne is committed to efficient, effective, and user-friendly town government. She brings a collaborative, coalition-building, problem-solving approach to public service. She believes in a welcoming, inclusive Reading and pledges to listen to and engage in dialogue with ALL members of our community. She supports small business and exploring opportunities for innovation.
Anne has served as a Reading Town Meeting and Finance Committee Member since 2014, two roles which have given her a deep understanding of the issues facing our community. She currently works as Chief Counsel to Senator Will Brownsberger. Anne graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond with her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish and from Emory University School of Law with her Doctorate of Laws (with honors).
A Champion for Reading
Anne is heavily involved in our community. In recent years, she has been involved in Reading Embraces Diversity, Reading People Organized to Welcome Refugees (POWR), Reading Community Singers, and Old South United Methodist Church.
Anne lives in Reading with her husband Ryan, who is a public elementary school music teacher. They are proud to be raising their family in Reading.
